CuteI'm kinda tall at 5'9 1/2" & the socks still went above my knee! I wear a size 12 US & they are too tight to wear above my knees. It's not a problem for me though, I just folded them down as I was really just buying them to get socks that would make it to my knees! I also wear a women's size 12 shoe so it's hard for me to find socks to fit. These are a little bit on the thin side so should be fine with any type shoe!I'm 5'6 and wear size 2 or 4 pants. These fit ok-ish. They go just above my knees if I pull, but they inch down slowly over the course of the day. If left alone the socks go below my knees, but if worn as knee-high socks there's excess length so it wrinkles. They look cute so I'm dealing with it by pulling them up a few times a day.These socks were a good quality and fit appropriately...however these were used for an addition to a halloween costume that required white socks. These socks were more on the off white side. Although it worked out this time...it would have not have matched if it was up against white (skirt, shorts etc.). If you are wanting a bright white sock then pass on this items. It a true white is not important then buy,I like the material. It is warm and fuzzy and washes well. On me they are about mid knee so i wear them just to the bottom of my knee. There is no way they would be over the knee except on a petite woman. I still like them for the colors and warmth. I would recommend and would buy again.Good quality socks. My only issue is with the band at the top that goes over the knee. It is very tight and not super stretchy like similar socks. Also, they are thin and the light colors don't go well over tights or leggings which is how I primarily wear over the knee socks to work in the winter. I am 5'7", 180 lbs, and usually wear a size 12/L.Nothing wrong with the product, but these knee highs would not stay up. I ordered these for myself, a male, thinking these would be much more comfortable than tights. I was wrong. I was using them in the play "into the woods". So I lost money on this item. But the quality fine. , there is just the issues in keeping them up!They all have odd chemical or mildew-y smells to them, so I don't know what's going on with that. But other than that, the socks are nice and comfy, and they fit me well (they are a little long on me, but that is simply because I am a rather short individual).
