i just love my new striped knee socks! they come to just below the knee cap and they are so cute. i'm 5'3.5" tall with an athletic build, for reference. they do fit very snugly so there is no worry about them falling down or looking sloppy. they are entirely fitted so they beautifully show off the contours of your lower leg, including your ankles. they may not work for women with plus-sized legs, i think they would probably be too tight to be comfy. so far i've already worn 3 of the 6 pairs i received and can hardly wait til tmrw so i can try on another pair! =) they wash and dry just fine. they are a bit thin (but not see-through or anything) so they don't provide a ton of warmth, but you can slip right into a variety of your shoes! so far they seem to be well made. i very much recommend these!!
